Thank you to all who have donated!!!  We were able to raise a total of $1,120, with $933.60 going straight to Golden Years Dog rescue, so I pitched in little more to make it an even $1000.  This will directly help pay for dog food, prescriptions, check-ups, and more.  You are all helping many animals live a longer happier life.

About the race:

So I was not able to beat my goal time but was still able to beat my personal record of 2:58:00 and complete my first Boston Marathon.  I only slept 1 hour the night before the race, and the first 4 miles were very crowded and slow.  My diet was good, the weather was a little warm, but I should have trained more in hills seeing that I was cramping around mile 23.

Nick Montoya, only 9 seconds off my actual time, winning a total of $78.40.

Second Place Time Guess -

Melissa Williams, only 39 seconds off my actual time, winning $56.00.  (Chose to donate half of winnings back to Golden Years Non-Profit)

Third Place Time Guess -

Jake Baker, only 1 minute 7 seconds off my actual time, winning $33.60.  (Chose to donate all of winnings back to Golden Years Non-Profit)
